Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Food poisoning need I say more

Came in with a large Group 1 hr Before Closing everyone was so warm and accommodating. They Quickly got our table ready and checked up on us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was Delicious and Fresh! I am sure we will be back.
(5)Maki W.
Nope. Soggy orange chicken? Come on now. Learn to cook.
(2)Mary S.
I would say that this is really fair Chinese food. it hits the spot and it isn't terrible. BUT once you've had really good Chinese food its makes it obvious that the food at China Delight is not. i am not saying i won't eat here. i am not saying the food is bad. its fair. the price is very reasonable and you get a good amount. i really like the lunch special. its a little of everything. and i really like the won ton soup! its great! i've always had great service and i recommend China Delight to students who want fair food for a fair price.

I don't understand why this place has four stars... I came here while visiting my parents. Our favorite Chinese Food place was closed, and we used to eat here all the time (probably around a decade ago) so we decided to check it out again. We ordered Orange Tofu, Sweet and Sour Tofu, Lemon Chicken, Vegetable Chow Mein, Vegetable Fried Rice and Won Ton Chips to go. When we arrived 30 minutes later to pick everything up, the restaurant was clean and busy (most tables were filled) and the guy working the cash register was nice. I just wish the food was as great. The Orange Tofu and Sweet and Sour Tofu had SO much breading on them that you couldn't even tell it was tofu. Maybe it wasn't? Whatever it was, it was gross. The Orange Tofu had NO sauce and the Sweet and Sour Tofu flavor was just off. The Vegetable Chow Mein was probably the best part but the Vegetable Fried Rice was overdone and slightly charred which took away all the flavor. My Dad wasn't a fan of his Lemon Chicken and the Won Ton Chips were severely undercooked where they weren't crispy at all. I think we all ate a few bites and were done. Completely let down by everything. My stomach didn't feel quite right the rest of the night. We will definitely not be coming back here. Next time our favorite Chinese Food restaurant is closed, we will go get pizza.
(2)Nancy T.
They keep rice and soup warm all day then serve it to you. It's nasty. Not worth your money. Food gave me a horrible stomach ache. Idk how they have such great reviews but I don't recommend this place. You are better off making stir fry at home.
(1)Heidi D.
How. In. The. World. Does. It. Have. Four. Stars?! Wow. I read another review that stated "maybe if this were my first time I wouldn't go back" and that's exactly our experience. 2pm on a Monday, few days before Christmas. Needed some sustinance during our last-minute shopping marathon and came here based on Yelp reviews. Hot and Sour soup was the best part of the meal. It was seasoned well, nice consistency, good flavor! But... fried rice was crunchy in parts. Gummy chow mein. The lemon chicken was so greasy that it detracted from what wasn't bad sauce. Cashew chicken was rubbery though the fresh vegetables were good. Adding to the experience, the place just smelled old and musty and the bathroom was "clean" but so musty smelling that it just set the tone for the experience. What are we missing?
(2)Nick S.
5 stars for this restaurant! The owners are very friendly and will most likely be serving you! This restaurant is loved by these passionate owners and it is reflected through the food and the service. Our favorite dishes are: Lovers' Prawns, Crab Rangoons, Salt and Pepper Fish Fillets, or honestly anything with the sweet and sour sauce. Yum!
(5)Aaron L.
Underwhelming at best. Perhaps it was because I ordered take-out 40 min before closing, but... I don't feel inclined to give them another shot.
(2)Danny S.
The server was quick and pleasant. The food was awesome. My family really enjoyed this place and will return.
(5)Maggie H.
This place has the BEST Chinese food! I started going here as a hungry college kid and every meal was like coming home to a home cooked meal. The staff is so sweet and kind. They are very attentive to food allergies and favorites. I highly recommend the hot and sour soup- it's the best you'll find! Now that I've graduated, I still drive back to Rohnert Park just for the great Chinese food. Also, kudos to the salt and pepper fish and garlic chicken!
(5)Ken K.
My wife and I have been here several times now. The food and service have been outstanding every time. The prices are very reasonable too. I highly recommend you give China Delight a try, you won't be disappointed.
(5)Cody T.
I've had Chinese in a lot of cities and a lot of states (never go to a Chinese restaurant in Utah) and I have to say that China Delight is one of my favorites, the best Mongolian Beef I have ever had, and the noodles in their chicken chow fun are always perfect.
(5)Daniel O.
I love this place, simply put. The food is fantastic, the service is fantastic, and the takeout is quick and reasonable. Our usual order is a rice dish, usually Shrimp Fried Rice. It's not too salty and very tasty. We also usually get the Mushu Pork, which comes with the standard four pancakes. Again, not too salty and very tasty. The third dish we alternate among Beef with Broccoli, Kung Pao Chicken, and Chicken with Snow Peas. Doesn't match which we choose, it's always a great dish. Coincidentally, the owners of China Delight are related to the owners of Gold Coin, a restaurant we used to always go to in our erstwhile home town, Delmar, NY. What are the odds of that? Mnn...I'm hungry again.
(4)Snatchly S.
This place is not bad. Just don't ask for extra sauce. The owner will have a heart attack over it. I guess those 5 cent tiny plastic cups are a big expense. I threw money at the woman so I could get two extra sauces. Just charge me 25 cents instead of acting like I'm asking for a free meal. Chinese food isn't hard to find. I'll be looking elsewhere now. I hate cheapskate owners who put their customers last.
(1)Joshua M.
This is my favorite chinese food restaurant. The staff here is very friendly and has treated me exceptionally well since the first time i went there. By far my favorite chow main anywhere. I love this place.
(5)Wayne S.
A great place to eat! Quality food done quickly and very affordable! I have been a happy customer for over 12 years going on average of once per week. Two thumbs up!
(5)Mister R.
2 words = Crab Ragoons Great service and food to go is good just get sauce on the side. The owner is very sweet she always make sure you happy! Good ppl.
(4)Angela A.
Unfortunately, this place did not do it for us. We went at lunch, the service was great, but the food was very average, not something Id crave.
(2)Meliza R.
The food is good. I have not been disappointed and the owners are very friendly!!!
(5)#NAME?
Worst experience ever. We are new to the area and were looking for a good Chinese Restaurant and saw China Delight had four stars. We ordered 5 dishes. 5. The order was $55 with tax. What!?!?!? For five dishes I usually pay $30-$35 for Chinese food. Wow. For this price I was looking forward to some great Chinese food. I consider myself something of an expert on these things. I have a culinary degree and have spent a lot of time cooking Chinese food with my friend's Chinese family and going to restaurants that they choose that have been wonderful. This was some of the worst Chinese food I have ever had. Panda Express is so much better than this it is ridiculous and I think Panda Express is lousy. The food had no flavor and no salt and the broccoli in one of our dishes was rotten. It smelled horrible and was yellow and brown from sitting around too long. Also the chicken in another dish smelled like it had been sitting around for a long time. Overpriced and disgusting. Avoid this place!
(1)Andy H.
The wife and I love this place for Chinese food. I always love coming here for Chinese food. Service is awesome food is delicious. A++++ EVERYTHING KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK
(5)Jolee L.
Delight or nah. Definitely nah. I don't understand how there are so many positive reviews after the experience I just had. As soon as we walked through the door we were greeted by some odd sort of stank. Shortly after we saw a box of eggs left haphazardly on one of the tables. The server abruptly told us to sit in the corner, of a nearly empty restaurant, and proceeded to throw the menus on top of mine and my boyfriend's hands after leaving us unattended for about 3 minutes. He brought us out water that had a strange pus-y hued substance on the outside of the glass and we then found a dirty napkin under the table. He brought out our appetizer, crab rangoons, that tasted like it had been left under a heat lamp for days - worse than I've ever had From Damn panda express. After this my boyfriend said we should dip because he didn't see it getting any better from there... He had to hunt down our server who was currently microwaving our food, and gave him $10 for the $6.50, sub par, crab rangoons and our apologies. The server gave him an attitude about the lack of notice since it was already in the microwave, even though my boo had to knock on the kitchen door after looking for him for 5 minutes to find him. Maybe our server was having an off day, but due to the microwaving of our meal, and the nearly empty restaurant I have a feeling it's more the regular treatment. Good riddance China delight more like a microwaved fright, I ain't trying to pay $20+ for a freezer dinner - thank you.

I wasn't expecting a massage, a foot rub, four star service, or health food That being said, I went to China Delight healthy and happy and left there with Diabetes and poor self esteem. The only server is a young lady who is lovely and as sweet as pie. Too bad she was not our server..we got the owner who is the Chinese food version of the soup Nazi from Seinfeld--perhaps she is just hard of hearing but she yells at me like my senile old great grandmother and is just as mean--I was yelled at repeatedly and loud enough for everyone in the restaurant to turn around and stare. Make sure you eat your appetizer fast and move your plate or you will get yelled at..don't change your mind (30 seconds later) you will get yelled at..Put your napkin on your lap or --yes--you will get yelled at if it's in her way--swear. After trying to eat the fried lettuce they call egg roll, I was starving and ready for my fave Walnut Prawns which I have ordered from just about every restaurant in the county in the last 40 years. Never, ever, have I had a sauce that literally tasted EXACTLY like it had been spooned out of a can of Betty Crocker Cream Cheese frosting. Which ordinarily I love--on carrot cake....and the candied walnuts? usually not a huge deal..but these I would hasten to call "candied"..they are a shadow of a walnut encased in an inch thick cocoon of pure sugar..more like walnutted candy, not candied walnuts....and not a pineapple on the plate to tang up the dish..I may as well have opened up a can of frosting and dipped fried prawns in said can. Bleccchhhh..and I was hungry too
(1)Tessa L.
We love this place! The carry out is super fast and the service is always friendly. Pork fried rice and orange chicken are the go to for our busy evenings. We have never had a bad experience.
(5)mina g.
My husband a I love this place when we want Chinese the only place we would consider! Best Chinese food around! We've been going there for years! Lemon chicken pork fried rice! Won Ton soup is just the bomb!!The owners are so warm and always happy to see us!!
(5)Bob M.
I normally do not write a bad review. Sorry. But the 5 people we had for dinner voted that I write this review. It was take out food so maybe if you dine at the restaurant it is better. The pot stickers were tough, chewy and not fresh. The lemon chichen was not good. The sweet and sour chicken was tough. The hot sour soup was ok. The only thing good was the Mongolian Beef (very good). For the price I expected better. Maybe it was an off day.
(2)Melissa H.
I rarely ever give out 5 star reviews especially to restaurants but China Delight you got me. I live off of Golf Course literally a minute driving distance from this place and I had never gone until my boyfriend told me about it. We went once for my boyfriend's birthday and once on date night and the food both times was exceptional. My brother has also brought home take out. This place is owned by an older Chinese couple and the daughter helps wait on the tables. The wife owner is very friendly and eager to please. You can tell she takes a lot of pride in her business. The food: The food is hands down the best Chinese food I have had anywhere. It is fresh, hot, flavorful and not greasy or gross. The combination chow mein tastes like what I think good Chow Mein should taste like. I have had their Sweet and sour pork, Schezuan Beef, Orange chicken, Chow mein, Kung Pao Chicken and Beef and broccoli. The prices are more expensive then a greasy americanized chinese place (where food sits in its own grease under the heater lamps) but they're definitely worth it and the portions are huge and shareable. My favorites would have to be the Schezuan Beef (sp?)... it's spicy and sweet with garlic and scallions I believe. I can go on but this place is really good. Some dishes don't reheat well so make sure to eat it all right away. This is a good place for sharing... I look forward to trying their lunch specials.
(5)Mary B.
First time visiting and the food was fresh and tasty. The owner and staff were courteous and attentive.
(4)Dena L.
We took my mother-in-law here for a nice dinner and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. We loved the food and the serving sizes were incredible.
(5)Laura C.
Great family owned restaurant. Large menu, fresh made food, friendly busy staff. Hot and sour soup is excellent as are the pot stickers. Love the Mongolian beef with lots of onions and recently became a big fan of salt and pepper fish. Large portions and good "to go" quick dinner. Very reasonably priced.
(5)Amanda L.
Yummy sweet and sour chicken, my fave! Good service and decent prices.
(5)Allison R.
China delight isn't anything special, just your average Chinese food restaurant. I came here with a party of five and we ordered several different things. I split the Rainbow Chicken (one of their house specialties, it comes with snow pea chicken, lemon chicken, and kung pao chicken) with my boyfriend. The Kung pao was delicious, everything else was.... meh. Lemon sauce was way too sweet, reminded me of donut filling. And I think the mushu pancakes might be flour tortillas (weird but good) I give this place a good solid three. I'm not in Rohnert Park much but I've had better Chinese food in this town.
(3)Casey O.
Great people, great service, always ready when they give you a time. They know me by name when I call and I like that type of attention to detail.
(5)Julie B.
Still trying to find fabulous Chinese food in the North Bay and unfortunately, this wasn't it. The service and staff were amazing but the food was just so so... Mongolian beef was super chewy and the almond chicken's texture made it hard to swallow. That being said, maybe they have their specialties that they do really well, I just didn't go back to experience them.
(2)Diane H.
We absolutely love this food! This last time not so good, the chow mien was really gummy and the prawns & crab Rangoon were extremely greasy. If this was my first time there I wouldn't go back, maybe they were having a bad night? I hope so because I really enjoy this place and hope to keep going.
(2)Amelia E.
I'm surprised they're not as busy because their food is extremely good. I like their won ton soup and their chicken chow mien / chicken fried rice. It's seasoned well and the staff seems nice. I would come again.. They're a little pricey though.
(4)Ally B.
I've been to this place many times and I have yet to be disappointed. As someone who has lived in this town for 18 years, I have yet to discover better Chinese food in the county.
(5)Julia M.
This is our favorite local Chinese restaurant. We have take-out on a regular basis, and we have never had food that was burned or otherwise badly cooked. On occasion we dine in as well, and the owners/staff are always friendly and welcoming. The restaurant has a family feel that we enjoy. Among our favorite dishes are the chef's special chicken, the sesame beef, the pork with mushrooms and bamboo, and the crispy chicken in house special sauce. Always with barbecue pork fried rice!
(4)Ashley W.
I think this was the worst Chinese food I have had, possibly, EVER. My fried rice was burnt. I mean actually burnt BLACK. Then they just tossed it up and pretended that I wouldn't notice or taste it. Whoever made the pot stickers must have never made them before because I could have made better ones at home from a frozen package. Most of them were missing chunks because they had stuck to the pan. Two had no bottoms to the pot stickers at all. The rest of the food was okay .. but not good. I would certainly NEVER go back.
(1)Lou Ann G.
If I could give 10 stars, I would. This has been our favorite restaurant, forever. The food is excellent, the owners are wonderful. Whenever we want to go out or just stay home and order in, China Delight has never disappointed us. It is like home away from home. I definitely recommend this restaurant!
(5)Liz P.
So I am not too sure if great food cancels out bad service. I came here with my mom and husband. It's the first time I have ever been here. It took me forever to try to get the waitress so that she could take our order not to add the place wasn't busy there was 2 other tables and two waitress. I ordered chow mein and Kung pow chicken it was great. Not too sure if I will be here again or not but great food if you don't mind terrible service By the way the portions are BIG. I had something from the lunch menu and had lunch and dinner that night and was extremely full both times.
(2)Amanda P.
Seriously, the best Chinese food in Rohnert Park. I always like to think it's the chow-mein that makes or breaks you, and theirs is superior to any other chow-mein in Rohnert Park. Trust me. I'm bummed that they don't deliver but the food is perfect. Being a vegetarian, I do not know how any meat broth or meat tastes, but whenever I bring anybody they seem to thoroughly enjoy it. That being said, any of the veggie options are amazing.
(5)Kelly B.
Been going here for years and years. I remember when I worked next door and they used to bring me Hot and Sour soup because I always complimented them on it! The food has always been good and the staff is always friendly. Pretty much anything you order there is going to be good.
(5)Johana M.
China Delight is good, but it was even better when it was Thay Yuet Lau. Still, it is my preferred chinese food in town. They must be doing something. right if they manage to stay in business in that tiny Rohnert Park strip mall with no anchor store in sight. Their Wor Wonton soup is great when they don't forget the 'wor' part of it. The crab rangoon is a must. Also garlic eggplant, rainbow chicken, and the prawns in special sauce. Their chow mein is kind of take it or leave it, not too exciting. I love when they throw in a bag of almond cookies when you pick up, those are damn good also!
(4)Kevin J.
The food is good. the restaurant itself is a little stale inside as far as decor goes. And patronage is never too hjigh with seating always available. I think it's mostly due to location and the fact that everyone would rather have it to go instead of sitting down for a meal. This China Delight is pretty darn good when it comes to options and flavor. I haven;'t had a dish yet that has blown my socks off or sent me to the sick bed. 3 solid stars from me.
(3)Paul J.
My son and I came to Rohnert Park to take a look at Sonoma State. We are from Orange County which has some excellent Chinese restaurants. We had a terrific meal at this restaurant. We ordered Mongolian Beef, Orange Chicken and Garlic Prawns. The food is not fancy but it is good. The food came out fast and everything tasted fresh. By the way, the portions are large. We had a lot of food leftover. The entire meal was under $40. I was extremely impressed with one waiter. She may have been the owner. A dad came in with three kids. However, he had locked his keys in his car. After he ordered dinner he went outside to wait for AAA. The waiter brought the food out and then proceeded to serve each child. She stayed and talked to the kids until their dad came back. You can't give better service then that! If you are ever in the neighborhood check this place out. You won't be disappointed.
(4)Peter C.
Portions are getting smaller. Voiced my concerns. Deaf ears. Broccoli Beef was fishy and very small. First time here was nice. Second time was not so nice. For some reason the use painters tape on the walls for decor. Weird. Food was ok. Crab cakes used imitation crab. Will look elsewhere for my Chinese food source.
(2)Michael H.
I would give this place 10 stars if yelp would let me. My wife and I went here for dinner 30 minutes before they closed and this place amazed us. The food was outstanding. We had the wor wonton soup with vegetable fried rice and Kung pao prawns. Everything was perfect. We haven't had Chinese food that good in years. First off, I can't suggest the wor wonton enough. The flavor was best described as vibrant and fresh. It was an explosion in my mouth. Hands down, it was the best I have ever had. The fried rice was cooked very well and fresh. There weren't any burned pieces of rice or undercooked vegetables. And the Kung pao prawns were spiced just right with a sauce that was to die for. Add to this great food, great service. They were on top of our drinks like a 5 star fancy restaurant. Plus they were very friendly and talkative even though they were closed when we finished. Most places would be shooing you out as soon as you payed. So great food and friendly attentive staff makes this place a winner in my book. I will be back and I will recommend this place to everyone I know.
(5)A W.
The food is here is excellent and affordable. Also, the owners are a lovely, nice couple who have been in business here for quite a long time. My orders are always processed fast and I've always been happy with the quality of food I get. I'm actually quite surprised to be reading the sprinkling of negative reviews regarding service or burnt food...I've been going to this place for 7 years and I've never once had a bad experience. If you're in the area and craving some quick chinese food, than this is your place!
(4)BenandSophiesmom T.
Gooey mess. Everything was coagulated and sticky. Very bland, not even a hint of saltiness. Szechwan beef wasn't the least bit spicy. The cashew chicken had mostly veggies that were super over-cooked and very little chicken or cashews. The sweet and sour chicken was just a big gloppy mess and the flavor was very one sided, no hints of sweet or sour. The fried rice wasn't even flavorful. How do you mess up fried rice? Our favorite, Confucius was starting to go down in quality so we thought we'd try something new. Disappointed but let's us know that Confucius is still a 4 star compared to this food.
(1)Jeff T.
Excellent vegan food. Their Szechwan Vegetarian Chicken is excellent. It must be eaten right away or it begins to get chewy. Overall an excellent meal and very good value!
(5)Melissa L.
This is my go to for Chinese food. If I could give it 10 stars I would!! I haven't gotten anything that I didn't enjoy. Their lunch specials are steals giving you fried rice AND chow mein. For dinner you can't go wrong with their hot and sour soup, and something from their house specials!! Salt and pepper fish is something unique that sets china delight apart from the rest! Look out when asparagus is in season, they do an amazing stir fry with chicken, beef or shrimp in a black bean sauce. Even if asparagus isn't in season they also do it with green beans. Also I heard they are college kid friendly offering 10% off with your student id
(5)Keith X.
China Delight was pretty good. A bit pricey though.
(3)Golden Gate O.
It's been awhile since I've had any Chinese food in town. Probably not since the previous Chinese restaurant in this location closed, Thay Yuet Lau. After reading all of the reviews for Rohnert Park, and trying three of them, I agree China Delight has some of the best Chinese food and service in town. We enjoyed their version of "General's" chicken and Wor Wanton Soup. The prices are reasonable, food is hot and ready to go quickly and staff is genuinely nice and helpful.
(4)Leanne A.
Only go to this place if you are not on a time schedule! Always very long wait- once I waited 45minutes for a To Go order! Prices are steeper than other Chinese restaurants (like Confucius which has better coupons) who seem to give the same large portions, but still affordable. There are a few 15% off coupons floating around, or you can get 10% off with a student ID card. Not much of a discount, but it's something! Lots of parking, friendly service, good cheerful atmosphere but staff is always stretched so thin among the large crowds and seems a bit harried.
(3)Raquel G.
Everything I ate was delicious! The salt and pepper fish is the best I have ever tasted and I would order it every time I eat here. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to come back!
(5)Leedle L.
The Salt and Pepper Fish...Ah-freaking-mazing! The rest is your typical Chinese, but that FISH...it just sets this place apart from every other restaurant. We get it every single time.
(4)Megan B.
Best service ever. The lady that served us treated us like we were family. She went over and beyond to make our experience pleasant. I highly recommend this place. The food is great too!
(5)Kaylene T.
Such great comfort food I love this place. There is definitely love put into the food. My kids were raised coming to Thai Yuet Lau and when I found out they were selling we were devastated. When we later found out the cooking was the same even better we were back. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. thank you.
(5)Michael W.
We were looking for a good Chinese restaurant in RP and came across this one. The service is great, the portions are huge, and the food is pretty darn good. We will definitely be returning!
(4)Anna T.
We just got take out for the first time from here because of the positive reviews. Unfortunately we were led astray. We got six items for $50 and it was all disgusting. Broccoli Beef smelled like fish, or maybe everything did. The chow mien was very bland, the hot and sour soup was blah, cashew chicken was gross, sliced BBQ pork was an glow in the dark supernatural red/pink color (all of it not just the outside) and the Crab Rangoon were mostly onions and under cooked and lumpy. So far everyone has stomach aches we had to through it all away which really sucks because left over Chinese food is always something to forward to. We have been searching for a good Chinese food place for years and so far have only found one; New China in Santa Rosa.
(1)Anne M.
Having just moved to the neighborhood I was thrilled to hear from locals about this place. So happy with the service, cleanliness and great food! Have had take out and dine in. All awesome!
(5)richard s.
my name is Richard and i have been to every Chinese restaurant in this county, i love Chinese food. with that being said, China delight is without a doubt the best restaurant for Chinese food in this area. the owners make you feel like part of the family, very friendly and welcoming. i ride my bike allot and they even let me bring it inside so that i can relax and enjoy my meal. and if you come here, order the Chinese chicken salad! the best. thanks guys for your excellent service.
(5)Lynne S.
Yummy food at a good price! Especially their lunch specials! My kids love the food too! Definitely recommend the crab ragoons!
(4)Jessica L.
This place is amazing! I love that it is right down the street. I brought my brother when he was in town and he said it was some of the best Chinese food he has had. I have dined in as well as gotten take out and the take was really fast and the food is so fresh. My go to choices there are the sweet and sour chicken and broccoli beef. Both are SO good. The lady that served us was very friendly and helpful with menu questions. I will definitely be going back soon.
(5)Chris K.
Not the best place in town, but far from the worst. I don't know of any 5 star chinese food restraunts in Sonoma County. 3 stars are hard to come by and 4 stars is very rare. The service here is very good and the owners are friendly. You won't be disappointed. They don't overcharge you and the food is pretty good.
(3)Austin R.
Great tasting affordable Chinese food with generous portion size. This place has a great atmosphere. The servers are super friendly and helpful. Water glass is always full. I recommend the Mongolian beef.
(5)Julia O.
I love this place. I used to live down the street from it and my neighbor/friend took me to lunch there one day. I was impressed. They have amazing hot and sour soup (my favorite thing to get from Chinese food restaurants) and they give great portions. I also really like their shrimp chow mein and pretty much everything I have tried there. The people there are super friendly and you can tell that they really care about their business and providing good service. Since the first time I went, I have gotten my parents, grandparents and brothers hooked on this place. I definitely recommend it!

I was a little skeptical of this place having a 5 star yelp rating. That is very unusual, but I wanted to go ahead and give it a try to see how good it was for myself. The service was wonderful. The woman who helped us was so incredibly nice! She was very helpful, and wanted to answer all of our questions. Having said this, the food was ok. It was nothing special, but was reasonably prices. All the entrees were about $9. Lunch seemed to be the time to go for the best deals, which is standard at most Chinese food restaurants. I will not be rushing to go back here, but I will probably go back sometime in the future.

I read about this place on yelp, so my girlfriend and i decided to give this place a try. the food was ok the service was very good because no one was in there. the food was a good serving size, all of the lunches come with chow mien, fried rice and two wontons that where stale. this decor was dated but very clean. I would try this place again if there where more people in the restaurant. I feel bad about giving three stars but it is what it is

my wife and I ordered take out from here for the first time yesterday. We even drove out of our way to get to this particular restaurant because of the high ratings. The people running the place were incredibly nice, unfortunately the food was no where on par with what I read here. wont be going back

Ordered the Wor Won Ton soup to go. I think they forgot the "wor" part. Alot of won tons, four shrimps, and some randon pieces of beef. Not one green vegetable to be found. Very disappointing. If I had wanted just won ton soup, I would have ordered it and paid several dollars less.

My wife and I ate here for the first time tonight. The place is very clean the staff very nice looks to be a family it looks like your normal Chinese restaurant. We had the lemon chicken and Mongolian beef. And for $4 more each we got soup, spring roll, two won tons and steamed rice. It as all very good much better than most of the Chinese food you get and it was a lot of food we took home half the entrees you don't need to order one entrée per person here. Total was under $33 with tip. We look forward to going back.

Coming from someone who worked at a Chinese restaurant for several years- one that got consistent rave reviews- and from someone who frankly just loves Chinese food- I have yet to find a place that compares to my hometown Chinese food of choice. However, this place is the closest I've found, as of yet- and by far the best in the Rohnert Park area the few I've tried in Santa Rosa. I have been to so many, that I didn't even finish my plate and passed on taking home leftovers. This Restaurant is extremely clean with nice decor. Service is very friendly. Food is prepared quickly- in house and to go. Food is fresh. Chow mien is slightly on the bland side and there have been a couple of times that other dishes haven't been consistent. Ive found that the won ton soup, hot and sour soup, mou shu pork, crunchy spicy prawns, Szechwan string beans and spicy broccoli are some of my favorites. However, I find that their spicy items don't have much heat. You can't beat the price of their lunch specials, which offer a variety of choices and a ton of food.

I was excited to try this based on the reviews but unfortunately, my expectations fell short. I'm sad to say that because the service and wait staff were really great but the food all kinda tasted the same. Nothing to write home about. I will not be going back again.

Showed up before a crowd, ordered appetizers, 3entree's,chow mein and fried rice. We got rice and chow mein 10 min before the entrees and it was gone by the time entree's arrived. It would have been nice to eat them with entrees. Shrimp in veggies tasted kind of well lets say not fresh. Didn't really care at all for the orange chicken, kind of soggy. Will not eat there again. Drinks were kept full, but food and timing of entrees were enough to keep me from coming back ever!!!

Very comfortable decor, delicious food, generous serving sizes, and friendly efficient service. What more could you ask. This was our first time at China Delight and found this restaurant lived up to its promise.

A giant plate of fried rice, chow mein, soup, and your entree for $6.25, considering for 25 cents less you can get a crappy subway, this place is a steal, no questions about it. The service is mediocre but who cares, tons of chinese food for cheap and it tastes good, I am down.

This is our family's favorite place to eat. The food is homestyle which we just love! The vegetarian dishes are wonderful and fresh. Try the sizzling tofu and vegetables or the Schezwan braised green beans with black bean sauce or the vegetable Chow Fun. My carnivore relations like the Beef with Oyster Sauce. They also serve brown rice. The dining area is comfortable and very clean. This is not a fancy restaurant but a family place, good and affordable.
